About Kompas Park Kompas Park, in the village of Khreshchatyk, Cherkassy Oblast, was founded by Vic Jackopson, and is part of the Kompas Park Educational Association.(KPEA) It was established by Hope Now, which has been working in Ukraine since 1992. For many years Hope Now had a summer program of camps and holidays for children from its own cottage homes, orphanages and special schools. Often, these have been less than ideal due to inadequate facilities and/or poor food. Kompas Park, under the leadership of its young director, Alla Kostyunina, provides the ideal home for year round conferences, but especially summer holidays. In addition to Kompas Park, KPEA is responsible for the Cherkassy Centre for Biblical Studies, a student sponsorship program for disadvantaged Cherkassy Christians , and the Fresh Start for Children program of educational development for orphans. www.hopenow.org.uk For all information contact@kompaspark.com
